Please submit a well-written and thoughtful essay in response to the prompt provided. Essays must be a minimum of 500 words, but no longer than 1000 words to be considered.

WildSmiles Braces endeavors to turn orthodontic correction into the ultimate braces experience for patients and doctors. Consumers have come to expect personal expression in all aspects of their life. Provide an essay describing how you would deliver the ultimate patient experience using personal expression as a template for practice success.

Scholarship Program Details

The scholarship is for one-thousand ($1,000) US dollars. The funds awarded by WildSmiles Braces LLC are to be used for tuition and books only. Applicants must be orthodontic residents who are currently enrolled and in good standing at an accredited orthodontic program recognized by the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). Once awarded, a check will be written to the recipient’s enrolled school and credited to academic costs. This scholarship is non-renewable and only awarded for one (1) semester cycle. Recipients are only eligible to receive the scholarship once during their lifetime. Essays will be reviewed by a panel of independent judges and the recipient will be notified via email or phone. The recipient will be publicly announced in March each year on the WildSmiles website and social media platforms. An announcement will be published in the AAO Bulletin and eBulletin as well as a general press release. If possible, a check ceremony will take place at the recipient's school alumni reception at the AAO Annual Session.
